Well i would like Pakistan to win it but i dont see that hapening with all the injuries weve got.

My second favourites are England but dont think they stand a chance, hope im wrong.

I think the finals going to be between Australia and South Africa, and Australia probably take it once again. But its not going to be a walk through this time around, most of thier players are old now and theres a lot of great teams around with some young exciting talent.

Cant wait

This World Cup seems to be the most open one ever.

I dont think there is a clear favourite at the moment. Everybody has lost games before the Big Event

I think the ICC Trophy was a good indicator of form moving ahead.

Australia should comfortably win it... they have the team and ability... they just need to front up. Their complacency should be gone by now though.

Tait now has the opportunity to step up and shine.

Have been relatively disappointed with Lee of late... not sure we'll miss him.

I still think you will be missing him. Lee is a big game player.

Symonds is another who wont be around in the early games

I think the acid test will be against the South Africans. They have been on a big roll of late and look very strong going into the World Cup

Quite true. I have been convinced to watch this game with some South Africans.

Could be interesting.....

Always a first time.

Note: Australia had never won the ICC cup until this past time. So maybe...

This reminded me of something I read abt Nathan bracken in cric info, its such an oz way.. like other teams dont have the ability :)

Mother-in-law's wise tongue
Mothers-in-laws often get a bad rap - but not so Nathan Bracken's. Lenore Rich has been revealed as his source of inspiration. Indeed, if Australia are ever in need of a new bowling coach, Bracken reckons he may have the answer: Lenore. "She tells me the same thing she always does, to back my ability and it's the same thing Troy Cooley says to us every day."

U can notice that backing the ability is changed to front up the ability :D

I desperately need India to win.. more than that.. Oz to loose. hope this time around i'll not have to support, 'any team' that's good enough to beat aus..but Indian team, who've all the abilities.. n might in papers.. they just need to back up their abilities.. :D
