Hey folks,

As you might have heard or read, K-9 Friends the only volunteer shelter for abandoned and strayed dogs in Dubai (and UAW) is being evicted as of May 31, 2007. "Reason": Landlord sold the building and new owner has other "needs" for space...

Currently there are 128 dogs being taken care of by K-9 Friends. The aim of K-9 Friends is to find a home to each and every dog that is brought to the shelter but that it is not always possible and that is why there are that many dogs in the shelter at the moment.

K-9 has been in Dubai 19 years and can't operate without a facility.

If you know of anyone interested in adopting a dog please give them a call. If you have a building or a piece of land you are willing to lease to K-9 friends give them a call. 04-347-4611.

Hopefully a solution will be found as the alternative ain't pretty. There is not much time before May 31!

can nothing be done for K-9? cant the govt be approached for a piece of land? Just a thought

I think this has been done (the asking anyway). But nothing yet!

I've also enquired about something at this end... but no response yet.

The best solution would be a piece of land. Building something is piece of cake.

128 dogs need a place to live !! Lot of indian also need place to live :0)

Solution :

kill all of them and bury them in big hole ! in this way they can live in nice place :=)

what gonna dog get from their live?

1= They dont even know if they r having s.e.x with their own moms or sisters

2= Their names are used as abuse (e.g. son of bit.ch , kutta ka bacha (son of dog) ...

3= no doubt how decent they are , they always end up barking :=)

4= they are loyal and always lick feet thats why girls always like to have dog boy friends .

I imagine you are glad to be back in a place that has electricity.

Anyways, as far a the dog thing: Send Cash - they need it. And send cash to the Indians you mentioned they need it also.

Thanks , i manage to took bath with warm water today after 2 weeks :=). I was on family visit and Internet is only when i am alone .
Milking sheep give u some good experince because u have to shake "milky way" sooner or later
