Light House Project Scam

The developer of the Light House project in the Dubai Marina has absconded leaving investors in these off-plan apartments facing $4m in lost deposits, reported The Sunday Times. Only the foundations of the 15-storey building have been completed, and around 90 deposits have been paid, reported the newspaper.

Yes, its sad and my lanlord also suffered from these buggers. He was told the people just picked up and left with the monies received. Some (local) owners have actually fully paid for their apartments.
