Careful out there. A second hand cheap car is exactly the same as 'a free lunch', neither of them exist!
If it looks cheap up front, then there is a good reason.
Rather than look for something 'cheap', do yourselves a favour and look for something that's good value for money long term. It is not the same at all, and could save you money as well as major hassle and headaches. Get any car you are considering, thoroughly checked out by a professional, its worth the small investment. Check out a decent warranty offering. Buying from a main agent may seem to have a little more cost up front, but the peace of mind you get is often priceless.
