Hello,

I was wondering if someone from Dubai community has ever exported a car abroad. I am going to Dubai for 3-4 days and would like to buy and ship the car via container. I would like to know if 3-4 days is enough for such a transaction and what are the procedures for that.

From what I have learnt on the web is that you have to be a resident of UAE to buy and export a car. Is that true?

Any help will be appreciated.

Everything in Dubai takes time (licences etc), so make sure you don't end up with a car that you can't ship
