Just a warning guys - I went to dollar rent a car a few months ago, paid m rental fee upfront and they took a pre auth off my credit card. Then I found out they have just been putting my card number through whenever they feel like it to pay speeding fines - they provided me no evidence of the speeding fines and didn't inform me when they were using my card. I'm not saying that none of the fines were mine, but surely it's illegal what they are doing without telling me? So this is firstly a warning to everyone to NOT use Dollar Rent a car and to spread the word, and also is there anything that I can do?

i remem my cousin rented from them when he came from canada a while back and they charged him around 150 $ . then it turned out it got mixed up wid some other person etc etc .. newayz it took months to get it cleared off
