I'm buying one or the other.
Any opinions?
I want a decent but not hard-core 4WD. Something very safe and big which is both of them.
Which should i go for?

Whichever is cheaper. But IIRC, the VW retains better resale than Volvo, so keep that in mind if you plan to sell your car in 2 to 3 years

Both are good but I'll wait for 2009 models. Volvo and Murano has very good one coming. I'm not sure VW will change or not. Imo, Acura MDX is better than all 3, but I couldn't find it in UAE.
