Are schools in the UAE gender segregated?

doha

Hello I'm doing a report and I need to know if the schools there are segregated or not.

Chocoholic

Not as far as I know. Certainly not the International schools.

general_A

only public (Government) schools, and some private ones

Bethsmum

Public schools for the public? How weird. We keep Public schools private in the UK 🥴

Kids shouldn't be segregated. It makes girls giggly.

Sandstormlady

Folks no need to fight! Come to the answer

Yes there are some schools which are gender segregated but there is no compulsion from Ministry of Education. While registering a school , the owners need to mention the type of school and yes there are some set of rules then, which needs to be followed for co-education schools.

PTLLS is a Premium course which is now available in dubai. It is first stage of a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in Lifelong learning sector. PTLLS offers a comprehensive outline to the role and responsibilities of the teacher, tutor or trainer. PTLLS is a relatively new program which will replace the popular CIEH Professional Trainer Certificate (PTC)I in near future.
