I thought all agents listed for free - they charge the tenant.

I won't deal with an agent again - they charge excessive fees to do nothing and make the tenants life difficult.

well there is this new online real estate portal/website where you as a tenant can see all the properties listed by owners and will have the chance to negotiate directly with the owner too. unlike commission based agent (charging 5% from the annual rent), this company im talking about is charging a FLAT FIXED RATE of dhs. 1,500 only irregardless of the annual rent.
