Hi All,

A few months ago I started a post about starting up a Business in Dubai. Out of my own experience I want to share a few things to pay attention to if you want to start up:

1. Do your Homework, properly - the content is less important here (you can sell anything) as long as the structure and the legal form of the Company is right.
2. Read, re-read and re-read again and again the small print of everything!
3. Consider a Freezone? Despite any rumors, it is NOT allowed to carry out your services etc. outside the FZ!!
4. Get legal advice before you commit to any 'It is an easy process' blah blah - it isn't easy at all! The 'but' always comes later.

I could continue the list until point 100 and more. But I prefer to open this one up to a fruitful exchange. Appreciate any input with which we can collect the essences of a Do-it-yourself Start-up.
