Barbados without any doubt. If u have loads then one bank is really safe- Switzerland.

I was already thinking about Switzerland myself. I don't have loads though...yet.... but sometime next year I should be able to set aside a couple of K.

Am still browsing to various swiss banking sites, will report back here on anything good I come across.

If anyone has suggestions, they're still welcome!

You don't need a Swiss off shore bank account for a couple of K.

Let me add that I think big with numbers. So with 'a couple of', I wasn't thinking 1,2 or 3, but more like 50, 100, 200
