I and my phil frnd wanted to start up a money exchange business here in dubai, i like to know if somebody can guide me on the above... i was talking to different ppl about it and was informed dat it will not be easy plus wud be needing some shaikh's reference and in addition will have to submit dhs 3m bank gurantee.

wud appreciate if anybody from da forum cud guide me here.

Are you thinking of doing money transfers back to the Philippines or elsewhere or just strictly money exchange? I heard for the prior it is a 10 mill guarantee but I would def. check.
