Hi all, I have searched the forum and read the numerous posts on unmarried couples living together. My understanding is that it is technically illegal but informally tolerated as long as you are respectful of the culture in other aspects of your lives and conduct yourselves in a proper manner.
If an individual and his girlfriend both get jobs separately in Dubai and wish to live together discretely I assume that the 'residence' on the visa in the same address and this doesn't cause an immediate issue?
Just to forestall any comments lets say for the sake of argument this couple can't just get married before going and renting a second 'dive' apartment for the purposes of the visa is not an option.
