Hi there! My wife and I will be relocating to Dubai in a couple of months, and are exploring different ideas for accomodation. She will be working in DIFC, and I will be working in Jebel Ali FZ, and it has been suggested that we try to find a place in-between those areas.

We're looking at a max. annual rental budget of approx. 180-200k AED, and are currently considering places like the Springs, Dubai Marina, and the Palm Jumeirah but really have no clue yet. Going for a week-long visit on Thursday, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Live close to DIFC or close to JAFZ. Then only one of you will have to suffer traffic jams. Do the drive at rush hour when you visit to get an idea of what you can stand. Check out intersections under construction. Defense roundabout will be a nightmare for the next couple of years. Dubai Marina may be ok soon.
