We could potentially be moving to Dubai for a year on a short term assignment. Could anyone please give me some information on the foll:

a) For a family of four, how much would it be to rent a flat 2-3 bedroom in Jumeraih or one of the places closer to American school and/or hospital my kids have respiratory problems)?
b) what would be the monthly expenses excluding school for an avg family? Just an approximation will do.

Try this-hard to estimate costs as it depends on what you eat, drink, how long you leave the air con on, how far you drive etc etc.
Anyway as far as accomodation goes Jumeirah is a big area as it has Jumeirah 1, 2,3....You can look for an older type villa in these areas and Umm Sequiem for around the 100k to 120k mark but getting hard to find. Try Gulf News classifieds as this gives you the best indication of the market.
