It seems there's a lot of questions in regards to the year-in-advance system of rental payment ... Obviously a lot of expats don't have this covered by their company. I'm wondering if someone can please let me know if any finance companies / banks offer a service to provide finance to cover this exorbitant cost once your residency is approved?

Please tell me there is an answer to this problem, particularly if you're not "cashed up"! Many thanks in advance.

Personal loan?

Emirates Bank has an optional card or something like that. They would pay all of your rent in One Check and then take it out of your account monthly but the interest rate is 7% thats what I heard. You should give them a call or just get a personal Loan like XRW mentioned
