why doesnt the govenrment step in and stop the rising cost of accomodations??? i mean, even if you do earn a good amount around here, you still spend most of it for accomodations...such a princess juggling the paycheck...this place is attracting so many people because of the economy but theres less to go around since even if you get paid well, you can hardly afford a decent place to crash in.

completely agree with you, and even with the high prices the quality of apartments that I am seeing in bur dubai at least is nothing great.. I use to pay S$1800 (dhs 4000) for a 1 bedroom in singapore n I cant find one of the same quality here for even (dhs 6000)...am really diappointed with the quality-cost eqaution here...now I've been told i can find better apartments on sh zayed rd..lets see.

there are good places here (shk zayed is where i live) but its the same thing, if not even more expensive...really...the prices are all going up and its unregulated by the government.
