I have been offered a job in Dubai with a company that will pay me a housng allowance. Can anybody tell me how much an average monthly rent would be for a half decent one bedroomed place?

congrats on the job offer....

depending on which part of the city you live in you could get a studio from dhs 35000 to dhs60000, and a 1 bed room hall from dhs 50000 to dhs 85000. these are annual rents. there are also sharing accomodations avlb from monthly rentals of dhs 2500 onwards.
