God did NOT create the Universe says Stephen Hawking

The universe was not created by God, scientist Stephen Hawking has said in his new book.

Professor Hawking believes the laws of physics were behind the Big Bang instead, in a challenge to traditional religious beliefs.

er I think this has already been proved by many scientists over many years, you're a bit behind the times mate.

I have a feeling that chev-the-chav would lose a debate against Hawking's chair - but then again, perhaps it may be a draw?

As theories of creation goes - my favourite and simplest one is that we were all created 5 minutes ago with ready-made memories. It can't be disproved either way, but that doesn't mean I believe this is what happened.

Hawkings comes up with a theory that he says does not neccessitate a creator, but at the end of the day we have to choose whether to put faith into this new outlook/theory or not.
