Is there a windsurf station in Dubai that has equipment for rent and lifeguard service? any wild places people come with own equip to?

Looks like it is all about surfing, not WIND-surfing. Is there a wind in the area at all? :)

It means you really didn't surf enough to find some info from the site mentioned above... Heres a note from one of the surfers: Quote: good windsurfers find the winds here a bit mild. Many have taken up kitesurfing. But you'll get onshore winds almost every afternoon for a few hours - usually somewhere between 5-15 knots. Surfing in April is a bit of a lottery (as it is most of the year) but it's starting to get in to summer then which means no or almost no waves.
