| those basic lonely planets books really help to understand dubai, i suggest you bring one of those, the maps are generally updated and are a godsend if you intend to drive around as soon as possible. a wifi ready laptop should help also :) |

| Actually, I couldn't think of anything to bring....as you just mentioned you will have a furnished apartment...so nothing else really...coz everything is available in Dubai..whether it's the true thing or copy cat... :D WELCOME TO DUBAI....AHHALAN WA SAHLAN.... :D |
