Even if you didn't get a change in weekend, it has affected us all in traffic, timings, working with other companies etc. Has it affected you positively, negatively or not at all?

i live 5 mins from work...i hardly work...and i skive on sundays...coz i am still getting used to sunday being anything but a workday...added to that the glorious sunshine is a boon...and work is great...so everyday is like a holiday...except the few days that i really have to bite the bullet and work...hahahaha :P

Traffic on Thursday is definitely worse, as is traffic on Sundays. It could be the back to school thing too though.

Its really fooked me up, as we DO NOT get two days off at the weekend anymore.  Having said that, it is not 100% as a result of the weekend change, but more in line with the Client requirments. BUT, I do feel sorry for those who have to work a half day saturday. I mean, what good is it. Day off on Friday, half day Saturday, PM off. You are just not able to go anywhere. I have heard that they will soon make the two day weekend compulsary. Anybody heard this as well?

Yorky I think if your company is in a freezone then no its not compulsary but if its outside the freezone, I think govt can do that.......... Our weekend didnt change....its still Friday and Saturday...lovin' it!
