| I can't believe it; http://web.archive.org/ is blocked - I discovered this when wanting to read an obituary on a peace activist. web.archive.org is a complete recorded history of the internet - so rather then block pages or make a code change to the proxy they just block the whole site? This is like locking up the door to a library as you don't agree with handful of books rather then make the effort to restrict access to the said books. What a shame that is. |

| It's been blocked for years. I think because otherwise you can view blocked sites via archive.org. That, and google translate are two of the most irritating blocks they have. |

| Etisalat are just Jibba Jabbas... I pitty the fools! They once blocked yahoo.com... later they said it was a glitch in the system. I almost bought me a 1 way tx out. Is it true that property in the freezone is NOT proxied? |

For now. As soon as Du start offering internet outside the Freezone and Freeholds they will be required to proxy. |

There are a lot of simple FREE ways to get around the blocked sites. Even we could open and surf the blocked sites. then What and For what? Assume you are surfing a blocked personal web site, then how could others know about you if they cannot surf that web site too. * |
