| Hi, Im a cable splicing technician [ copper & fiber ] for a big telecommunication company in the states. Im earning $85k USD yearly they pay 100% of my medical and dental insurance. I keep hearing rumors of technicians making twice that amount in dubai and kuwait. Can somebody please enlighting me? Thanks for your time |

| it is because salary is tax free-- but as a US resident/citizen, you lose the advantage as you'd have to pay tax-- a big reason dubai isn't so attractive to american expats |
