XRW-147
Member 'evolve' should be able to cater your needs.
evolve
Whats your defo of "reasonably priced"? 8) You can pick up some bad copies in Sharjah for about 200-350 AED a peice. You can order some lightweight racing wheels for about 600-1000AED a peice Blings for about the same price....... double the above figures for 20"+ wheels.

Hey evolve, Man I want to paint my rims, but as far as I know they should powder painted (if I am correct) where can I do that !?!? and how ?! Thanks
XRW-147
Painting is fine dude. Powder coating does last longer but you have less colours to choose from. |
evolve
Would agree with XRW. Though painting has to be done professionally - otherwise the paint peels off easily in the hot weather here.

So  .. the replies havent really answered the question.. Wer cud one go to paint them rims??? :rr: |
XRW-147
Any capable paintshop can do it for you mate - there are no rim painting specialists. All that needs to be done is the wheels cleaned and prepped, painted, laquered, and off you go.

@ evolve hi, i have a honda jazz, i'd like to put some nice rims on it, which is better? 15"or 16"? My budget is 2k to 2.5k dhs. (this would include tires already) do you have something for me in this range? i would prefer if you have black rims coz my car is white in color. but if my budget doesen't allow it. then i'll settle for the standard ones. thanks very much
evolve
for a honda jazz i would probably recommend nothing bigger than a 15". we stock KEI racing wheels and WORK wheels. We can also source the ROTA wheel range for you. however, for your kind of budget - i can only say one word = sharjah :)
chardigan
@ evolve how much is your ROTA rims price range for 15"? i understand that its made in the Philippines (i'm Filipino by the way) maybe i could increase the budget a little bit. and you have Dunlop tires? tnx very much for answering my query. I have pictures of ROTA wheels from their website. maybe you have them in stock or something. . . . .

speak to shakeel at the evolve showroom - 043408869 and he should be able to get you some pricing on rotas
Ansa
Hi what would you recommend for a black Lexus IS300, and would I be able to trade-in the original set of 17" alloys? Thanks.
evolve
there is a nice range in gunmetal and black from KEI racing. www.keiracing.com alternatively, you can order in some nice WORK wheels from Japan.
fafit
so would i be able to trade-in my original set of alloys? if so how much can i get for them given that the car is brand new. thanks
fayz
Hey PalKid, did you get this done yet? are you happy with the results? I was thinking of painting my rims a gunmetalish colour and am curious to know if you/anyone are happy with the painting |

Evolve... I'm looking for 17" Rims and Tyre for Nissan Altima 2007 approxim how much shud i carry in pocket b4 i go shoppin.... cheers
mighty.one
Hey evolve... im looking for some A8 Rims (18 inch) for my golf. Any chance you could get me some?
autodrone
I agree with 'Evolve'. 15" is plenty big enough for a Jazz - I have one on 15s and they are fine. As a general rule, if you go more than two inches either way from standard, you will start to compromise on the suspension/handling/ride characteristics of your car. The bigger the rims, the smaller the profile of tyre you can fit under the wings; the smaller the profile of the tyre, the more your ride will suffer as a result of the suspension loss in the tyres themselves. If you've seen anyone on 22s or something equally mad, you only have to watch them going over a bump in the road. It's a choice between looking flash or having a major bill at the dentist!
The Doctor
There is also the choice of 'looking flash' and having no warranty! Just be aware that a dealer is quite within their rights to reject a claim on a modified car, wheels count! Boring, I know, but just be aware.
