| guys lets not turn every thread into a discussion about mr habibiy and his ass getting whopped. Anywa, Ramadan Kareem = Generous Ramadan and i would say its used as a greeting for the month. Now why is it said, while mema is right about charity but i feel like its describing the month itself as being generous not the people. Why is the month generous ? you might think its an odd way to look at a month where your food and drink is taken away ! But the reason is that all good deeds are rewarded more than the norm, and so makes the month generous in spiritual rewards to the people. Thats my own interpretation to the phrase and i might be wrong but i like it :D |
