| I wondered how easy,or difficult, it is to get a nursing post in Dubai? I am a senior staff nurse here in the UK and wondered if anyone could give me more information on the best way to get information about perhaps working in UAE. I had expected they would need people who spoke Arabic to work in their hospitals, but given the amount of Ex-pats in Dubai then maybe that is not the case. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

| Arabic is not always necessary depending on which hospital you work in. You're unlikely to get a good package in a Government hospital (where it would help to speak Arabic), one of the private hospitals (where you won't need Arabic) will probably offer more. What's against you is the large number of Asians who will work in the UAE for less money than Europeans, however for senior positions, hospitals will look for western educated personnel. |
