| This is the one of the recent 'forwards' i've received in my email. Have also heard similar info in the past, of plastic bottles and their relation to cancer. "Ladies, below is some VERY important information! For the men, please pass this important information on to your female friends. This information was given to me by my husband and I know all the ladies in my life should know and please forward it to all the ladies in your life. My husband has a friend whose mother recently got diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor told her women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a car. The doctor said that the heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please be careful and do not drink that water bottle that has been left in a car and pass this on to all the women in your life." |

| Actually I've heard this many before too. You also shouldn't put plastic bottles of water in the freezer, to make it cold, then drink from it, for similar reasons. |

| ok .. this is another one, not from any forwarded e-mails or such, personally experienced a week back my friedns used to tell me there is dirt ( something materialistic ) in mountain dew. i never believed. went into my near irani bakala picked a dew bottle , sat outside & to my surprise, i found tiny particles settled on the bottom of the bottle. i shook it again & it was like hairs of ( hairy black spider ) inside that stuff. threw it off & cursed pepsi company. i wonder why did they stop seeding into the cans & glass bottles & opting for plastic ones |

This one sounds real nasty. You should have made a complaint though. |

| the OP is an urban legend .. http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/petbottles.asp |

probably just sugar/ fructose or corn syrup crystals forming at the bottom of the bottle - MD is quiet sugary, if the bottle was old its possible that sugar started crystalising on the bottom - lots of chemicals form long needle-like criss-crossed crystal structures .... ...... maybe it was ground glass! |

| Mountain Dew left in the car in the sun turns to piss which tastes bad and causes cancer  Bottled water doesn't cause cancer. http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/petbottles.asp |
