Hello! Just a quick question My partner and myself are looking to move to Dubai with the company he works for. But we have heard that you can't co-habit in Dubai if you aren't married. Is this true? As we are only 23 and don't want to get married yet. Kirst

Technically no you cant, but many do. However if ever there was a problem with neighbours or someone stitched you up then you would be in trouble. Many couples who are not married have 2 appartments.

cool, thanks - so its whether I want to risk it or not -I have heard that they are changing a lot of regulations in regards to living there at the moment to make it easier for internationals - do you think there is a chance they may change this law?

They will never concede on this issue i am affraid. We have to respect it is part of their culture. Unmarried and pregant is another that will never change.
