| I observe that my ADSL connection becomes pathetically slow everytime Limewire is running. Any suggestions on how to overcome this? Thanks. |

| Hi Kensus Why dont you try this software 'ARES' .Trust me its far more better than limewire and it also doesnt affect the speed.Try it out. Good Luck |

| yeah Ares is pretty good but slows down my laptop a lot when I use it... Then again it's a frickin laptop and I've got a crap load of applications running on it, not to mention SQL Server... |

| Yes Nick you are right?But as you said,it depends on how many applications are running on your laptop. I usually stop unwanted services on my laptop when downloading .I gives me faster performance even in limewire (m using that too but in special searches).. Cheers |
