Learning to speak Arabic

Post reply

Etoundi
Hi, I moving to Dubaļ in december and I want to learn arabic. Is it easy/cheap to find lessons? How long does it take to speak fluently?
Liban
Very easy to find a place that teaches the language. Please note that Arabic is one of the most complex languages that exist. To speak fluently will take a little time... Depends on the person.... Reading and writing and fully mastering arab grammer can take a lifetime... I kid you not.... Arabic grammar is insane...

Rather than going to Berlitz or another expensive language centre, I'll give you the contact details for an excellent tutor.

Out of curiosity, how much do places like Berlitz and the likes charge for Spoken Arabic courses?

I suggest www.rosettastone.com they provide online course, it is very easy to learn you can download to trial leasson (free). This is a very good program for beginner. They have many languages, and very reasonable price as well.

How about the Arabic course at Alliance Francaise [s/p?]. Anyways, any good places you guys recommend?
