Hi Guys So Karting is on 250 aed a head if we can get a minimum of 10 people max of 30 We were offered 2 options for Thursday 27th but the 6pm slot is too early for most. So : Thursday 27th 10.30 pm at the Dubai autodrome Please note you cannot drink before hand ... How ever sure we can arrange to have a couple afterwards. no worries nick:) u dont require it. the marshals give a small lecture on running the kart and what to do in case of emergency and stuff like that for first timers. Its fun man take it from me ur gonna enjoy it. cheers, Jerry

Ok Girls and Boys Some do's and dont's Do Arrive by ten pm wear light comfortable clothes you will sweat bring dry clothese to change into after suits will be provided wear trainers or other closed FLAT shoes Bring plenty of water or other soft drinks pay attention to marshalls - if you are worried about anything ask me or someone in charge Don't Drink alcohol before hand wear sandals I think that covers it - if anyone has questions just PM me or call Directions: The autodrom is situated very close to Arabian ranches just off that horrible roundabout on the emirates road From beach road take the road that runs paralell straight up from the Burj Keep going through Al Quoz Carry on straight until you get to the road with Dubai Land on it you should be able to see the Grand stand straight ahead at the roundabout (emirates road) where the big space ship etc is go straight ahead Take the autodrome entrance 1st on your right Follow the road straight up and look for signs to the kart drome See you all there

Well what can I say... I've got this HUGE blister on my thumb, I still haven't stopped sweating, shaking and I must've lost a few pounds of water... It's a miracle I can still walk :lol: BUT it was great. Great races, great meeting you all and get a chance to put faces to the names! Special wink to Kanelli, Maaad, Jeevan, Fayz and the person who made this possible: Cargirl!!! And I got a ride in the Golf R32 she was test driving 8) Anyway hope to meet u all very soon! Maybe for a drink, dinner? We were SUPPOSED to have a drink after the race but I think losing 90% of our bodily functions made us reconsider :P

Yes Nick it was great to meet you finally :) Everyone looked awesome out there speeding around the track! We spectators enjoyed the fender benders and spin outs. :lol: Karting should definitely happen again, but perhaps in the cooler months :wink:

I am back:), hey cargirl thanks for making it possible, it was great meeting you all maad, kanelli, fazy habibi, nick, apl. though i was not driving i was part of the action trying to catch the action.:)finally i cud make it to one of the meets:) peeps i havent yet downloaded the stuff on my machine as soon as i do it i will let ya all know how its turned out. Special thanks to CarGirl for organizing. When I'm back in the office, I'll scan and post the results without names. I will say though in race 2 the top 6 had an equal number of men and women so good on all of yah :) Nic,Jeevan and the rest it was great meeting you, always nice to put a face with a nic, pun intended :lol: :lol: Pretty Penny Snowboarding is a great idea I was also thinking a road trip to Salahla I'll do some organizing when I'm back from the UK, i was reminded it was my turn again to organize :)

I have to admitt I really enjoyed it. I was my 1st time ever to be in a kart. But what I enjoyed the most was the Dubai drifting session I had :lol: :lol: :lol:. Spinning and drifting on every corner :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
