animated files usually end in '.gif', once you find the right animated file you can take it and in your profile, link to off site avatar and paste the link of the picture you want. i.e. if you put this in the 'link to offsite avatar' http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b282/TheChupaCabra/42101yuu3xr3tvk.gif your avatar will look like this: c'mon everyone try it
