| I went through the process yesterday of getting my degree certificate, birth cert and passport legalised, attested, apostilled and god knows what else.
The day began at 4am, up and shower, drive to Birmingham, get taxi to train station, train from New Street to London Euston, then underground to charing cross, then taxi to solicitors office for stamping, then underground to Foriegn Commonwealth Office. 1.5 hour wait there to get documents apostilled, then taxi to UAE Embassy, drop documents off for legalising, 3 hour wait, then pick up, underground back to Euston, 1.5 hour train again, taxi back to work, then drive home and arrive back at 6pm.
PHEW WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How come noone mentions this ordeal, everyone must have to do it surely?!!? |
