Stop being a cheap @ss and get Earth Plus....jk. I recently worked on a project to track hurricane and predict the path using time analysis. I used Google Earth free version. The site [code:1]http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/map[/code:1] allows you to enter GPS points, overlays and many more! First convert your data into .csv(do in Excel .xls -> save as .csv) . Then go to the site and make sure you define the headers long (west is taken negative). cut and paste from ur .csv (open with wordpad) to the file or u can directly load it. Here is screen shot:![]() Press "Draw map" and Voila! Here is the screen shot of some of the hurricanes' tracks of 2005 from my project ![]() P.S : Consider donating some money to this great site if you are using it for commercial purposes. :D |
