I've been thinking (doesn't happen often): Why not hold a "Cyber Meeting" with DF members. Many complaints, etc. recenlty and perhaps and opportunity to discuss certain topics and get more "traction". So I thought why not have a meeting say 2:00 pm (14:00 hrs) Dubai time on Saturdays so that a maximum number of members is on line and the "meeting" can take place. And members can schedule their time on DF in advance. We could do this each Saturday afternoon. Timing is right as many of us are off on Saturday and those in Europe and Asia can also join. It may be some "discomfort to those on the other side of the Atlantic but those are 1 or 2 members". What say you?

i guess i misread what you wrote. i thought you meant there would only be a maximum number of members allowed online for the 'chat'.... thats why i asked how you would control that number.... sorry my mistake!

No offence to this 'cause', but better things to do on an off day than sit online madly refreshing the screen. Think about it, just with the regular bunch of 10-15 people online its hard enough to follow a 'hot' topic, imagine with 10 times that amount. Thanks, but no thanks.
