| How can i go about buying some land in Dubai what do i need to do about obtaining land in Dubai, all this is new to me so any info is most apreciated. |

| You can't! Basically expats are not yet allowed to own things freehold in Dubai, only RAK is doing that at the moment. This is why buying property here is still pretty risky, you own the bricks and mortar, but someone else still owns the land, it's all leasehold. |

| I thought in some projects like Jumierah Lakes and the Dubai waterfront they sell the land to the investors who then can use it for their projects. Check out Nakheel www.nakheel.ae i might be wrong though. |
