| Better yet: (1) introduce phpBB methods to prevent spambots logging in, such as a special passkey available on the forums. (2) Enable email activation. (3) Introduce a sandbox for new users. These 3 methods would pretty much eradicate spam. It would take some dedicated spammers to bypass this. |
