Bargain Shopping - Dubai Outlet Mall or Lamcy Plaza

Hi, everyone I need some input here about which is a better place to shop for bargains. I've tried Lamcy Plaza which has a floor dedicated to discounted clothes for all ages especially for the little ones. It was a factory outlet shop of major brands and did get some goods at bargain/dicsounted prices. But then I recently came to know about Dubai Outlet Mall, how's the things out there?, is it really a factory outlet shop with discounted prices? Can anyone give me some infos about D.O.M.? Is it any better than Lamcy Plza (3rd flr)? :D

There are no bargains at Dubai Outlet mall. I went there a couple of weeks ago and had a look and in some cases things were more expensive than what you get them at the other major malls. Nothing I could see was overly cheaper or a bargain. If you read the fine print it is an 'Outlet concept mall' and not actually an 'Factory Outlet Mall'.

Any good idea, anyone..... :D :wink: I will add I do know someone whose wife got a bargain on a dress there, just to clarify I guess like all shopping centres there's bargains to be found.... but overall it is just another City Centre, MOE, IBN Battuta Redux...

Anyway... all this is moot. Go to RAK for the 'Most Ultimate Shopping Experience Ever'.

How'd y'all hear about Dubai Outlet Mall? I just found it 2 months ago while driving around aimlessly in some sports car. I see this mall in the middle of nowhere, most of the shops were not open yet, and the rest were just the usual branded clothing stores.

It\s a little more finished but still plenty of non-opened stores... nothing exciting there at all, or any different to what you'll find elsewhere.

I was there a month ago and had a cheap & quick high. It was the most amazing experience. Actually, it was the glue / synthetic / new shops smell. Not pleasant. :oops:
