Any good live jazz clubs in Dubai

I have arranged to spend two days in Dubai (July 21, 22) after completing some work in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I enjoy live jazz. Can anyone recommend a jazz club in Dubai?

JAM BASE at the MADINAT JUMEIRAH...on any given weekend it is entertaining to say the least...but on harlem nights...which is once a month...it is really nice...as they fly in a band from new orleans...thus harlem nights...i would take my chances and go there on the weekend anyways... blue room (heard its good...havent had the chance to check it out..) havent heard of any others...hope that helps... cheers me

Agree with the fellow members about Jambase. If you are willing tp spend a bit extra I think at Al Muntaha restaurant and Sky View Bar @ Burj Al Arab they have a jazz band playing over dinner, Really nice :)

jam base was not that good when i went ... but i heard too that blue bar is nice... good to hear about someone who likes jazz its rare nowa days :wink:

Yes, the Blue Bar is by far the best venue in town. Get there on a Wednesday or Thursday evening and they have a live band who really rock the joint. 8) 8) 8) Knight

The only problem I find with the Blue Bar is the volume needs to be turned down a notch or two. Very hard to have a conversation, if you need to.
